====== Canon MD5501 ======
The MD5501 is a 5.25" double sided high density floppy drive made by Canon. It uses a leadscrew to facilitate head movement and locks the disk with a latching push button. Head loading is done via mechanical linkage.
It uses the [[#k36-0189-04|K36-0189-04]] or [[#k36-0213-03|K36-0213-03]] control board and the YG-H2 motor board.
