Canon MD5501
The MD5501 is a 5.25“ double sided high density floppy drive made by Canon. It uses a leadscrew to facilitate head movement and locks the disk with a latching push button. Head loading is done via mechanical linkage. It uses the K36-0189-04 or K36-0213-03 control board and the YG-H2 motor board.
Versions
There are two front bezel versions, one being half height and the other being quarter height.
