Canon MD5501
The MD5501 is a 5.25“ double sided high density floppy drive made by Canon. It uses a leadscrew to facilitate head movement and locks the disk with a latching push button. Head loading is done via mechanical linkage. The half height version uses the FPK0416XB3(X) control board.
Versions
There are two front bezel versions, one being half height and the other being quarter height.
